In December 2018, the “Kazakhstan National Pro” International Championship on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was held at “Arlan Grip” arena in Almaty under the sponsorship of the Arab Federation UAEJJF.

More than 250 athletes of different ages participated in it, representing such countries as Andorra, Brazil, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Poland, Austria, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

This martial art is based on the principle that a person of poorly developed body-build can successfully defend himself against a stronger opponent using proper technique (painful holds and stranglehold) and defeat him. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can be trained for various purposes: self-defense, sports, competitions and mixed martial arts (MMA).

The competition was held in different weight categories in order to develop and promote Submission Fighting in Kazakhstan, promote healthy lifestyle, improve the skills of participants and identify the strongest athletes for further participation in international tournaments.

Our company also supported these competitions by sponsoring the participation of its employee Boribekov Faizkhan, the Legal Department Specialist.

It should be noted that Faizkhan was responsible and serious in preparation for these competitions and won first place in his weight category.

Our competition participant showed interesting holds, good technique and beautiful fighting. The audience witnessed a spectacular and exciting fight. It’s worthy to note as well that his main fan was the team of “Fincraft Resources” JSC, who strongly supported his colleague and everyone was glad that he defeated his opponent for the first place.

Faizkhan was awarded the vouchers for the Asian, European and World Championships, which will be held in 2019 in various cities of the world for his victory!
